Tulsa man drowns below Pensacola Dam

Langley -- The Grand River Dam Authority Lake Patrol has recovered the body of a 37 year old Tulsa man from the waters of the Grand River, below Pensacola Dam.
According to the Lake Patrol, Jason Wortham was wading in the water, near a safety cable below the dam where water is released through generation, at approximately 5:30 PM Sunday evening when, according to witnesses, he went under and did not resurface.

The GRDA Lake Patrol responded and following a search, recovered Wortham’s body approximately one hour later.
