Floodwater release bulletin
At 12:00 PM on Monday, July 7:
- Grand Lake elevation was 748.17 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at 28.57 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 200 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,838 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 14,038 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 7,000 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 625.74 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at 33.36 percent capacity.
- Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 21,870 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 21,870 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 14,115 cfs.
The last crest predictions from the United States Army Corps of Engineers were for a Grand Lake crest of 752.10 on Wednesday, June 25 and a Lake Hudson crest of 632, occurring on Tuesday, June 24.
