Floodwater release bulletin
At 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16:
- Grand Lake elevation was 746.83 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at 15.99 percent capacity.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,119 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 13,119 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 7,874 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 624.76 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at 28.08 percent capacity.
- Three (3) units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 21,330 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 21,330 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 14,860 cfs.
In the event of flooding conditions, the United States Army Corps of Engineers often issues crest predictions for GRDA's Grand Lake and Lake Hudson. When those are issued, they will be included in this bulletin. Currently, the Corps has no future crest predictions issued.
