Floodwater release bulletin
At 10:00 AM on Monday, July 21:
- Grand Lake elevation was 745.66 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at 5.55 percent capacity.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,963 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 12,963 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 7,866 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 622.28 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at 14.99 percent capacity.
- No units were online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse.
- No floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 13,621 cfs.
In the event of flooding conditions, the United States Army Corps of Engineers often issues crest predictions for GRDA's Grand Lake and Lake Hudson. When those are issued, they will be included in this bulletin. Currently, the Corps has no future crest predictions issued.
