Floodwater release bulletin
At 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 24:
- Grand Lake elevation was 744.77 feet.
- Grand Lake conservation pool was at 98.19 percent capacity.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,900 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Pensacola Dam.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 12,900 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 7,187 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 623.04 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at 19.22 percent capacity.
- Two (2) unit was online at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releaseing 15,390 cfs of water through generation.
- No floodgates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 15,390cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 13,359 cfs.
In the event of flooding conditions, the United States Army Corps of Engineers often issues crest predictions for GRDA's Grand Lake and Lake Hudson. When those are issued, they will be included in this bulletin. Currently, the Corps has no future crest predictions issued.
