Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin 08/12/19

At 2 PM on Monday, August 12:
• Grand Lake elevation was 745.93 feet. Daily target elevation for August 12 is 743.21 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 688 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,766 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 13,454 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 18,805 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 621.80 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 249 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 33,210 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 33,459 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 14,095 cfs.
