Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
May 17, 2020
At 10 AM on Sunday, May 17:
- Grand Lake elevation was 747.59 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 40,360 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,909 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 54,269 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 57,193 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 618.64 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, fourteen (14) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 26,603 cfs of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 25,110 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 51,713 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 58,101 cfs.
