Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
May 22, 2020
At 6 PM on Friday, May 22:
- Grand Lake elevation was 745.22 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates and three (3) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 20,498 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,401 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 33,899 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 25,515 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 619.82 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, seventeen (17) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 6,631 cfs of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 30,780 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 37,411 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 38,168 cfs.
