Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
May 23, 2020
At 5:30 PM on Saturday, May 23:
- Grand Lake elevation was 745.56 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main spillway gates and three (3) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 29,722 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,307 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 43,079 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 46,591 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 619.61 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, twelve (12) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 8,340 cfs of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 29,700 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 38,040 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 45,185 cfs.
