Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
May 29, 2020
At noon on Friday, May 29:
- Grand Lake elevation was 748.72 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main spillway gates and three (3) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 43,116 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,232 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 56,348 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 48,883 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 619.51 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, fourteen (14) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 29,852 cfs of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 24,300 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 54,152 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 59,565 cfs.
