Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/17/19
At 2 PM on Monday, June 17:
• Grand Lake elevation was 753.26 feet. Daily target elevation for June 17 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 21,273 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,641 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,914 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 46,872 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 633.63 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 334 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 19,440 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 19,774 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 43,968 cfs.
