Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/18/19
At 8 AM on Tuesday, June 18:
- Grand Lake elevation was 753.89 feet. Daily target elevation for June 18 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 22,747 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,799 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 36,546 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 54,036 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 634.24 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 16,317 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 50,877 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 44,515 cfs.
