Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/20/19
At 4 PM on Thursday, June 20:
- Grand Lake elevation was 754.23 feet. Daily target elevation for June 20 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main and (4) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 36,244 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,048 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 50,292 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 46,621 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 635.08 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 31,716 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,290 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 66,006 cfs.
Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 54,361 cfs.
