Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/23/19
At 1 PM on Sunday, June 23:
- Grand Lake elevation was 753.84 feet. Daily target elevation for June 23 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main and three (3) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 31,776 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,556 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 45,332 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 54,832 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 634.37 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 17,485 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 52,045 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 56,060 cfs.
