Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/26/19
At 10 AM on Wednesday, June 26:
- Grand Lake elevation was 753.84 feet. Daily target elevation for June 26 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main and one (1) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 47,703 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,970 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 61,673 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 39,204 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 634.36 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 49,510 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 32,400 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 81,910 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 63,304 cfs.
