Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/27/19
At 8:30 AM on Thursday, June 27:
• Grand Lake elevation was 753.47 feet. Daily target elevation for June 27 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 36,118 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,644 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 49,762 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 33,372 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 632.51 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 24,003 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 31,590 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 55,593 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 51,140 cfs.
