Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/27/19
At 2 PM on Thursday, June 27:
• Grand Lake elevation was 753.40 feet. Daily target elevation for June 27 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 21,692 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,724 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 35,416 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 31,722 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 632.47 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 3,246 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 32,670 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 35,916 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 36,627 cfs.
