Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/28/19
At 11:30 AM on Friday, June 28:
- Grand Lake elevation was 753.24 feet. Daily target elevation for June 28 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 12,258 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,673 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 25,931 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 29,819 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 633.15 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 332 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 19,440 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 19,772 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 26,879 cfs.
