Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/01/19
At 10:30 AM on Monday, July 1:
- Grand Lake elevation was 752.76 feet. Daily target elevation for July 1 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 7,109 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,642 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 20,751 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 22,195 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 633.85 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 335 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,895 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 21,243 cfs.
