Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/03/19
At 1 PM on Wednesday, July 3:
- Grand Lake elevation was 752.53 feet. Daily target elevation for July 3 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 11,070 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,405 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 24,475 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 20,812 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 630.95 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 321 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,290 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,611 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 24,821 cfs.
