Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/08/19
At 1:30 PM on Monday, July 8:

• Grand Lake elevation was 751.77 feet. Daily target elevation for July 8 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 10,465 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,436 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 23,901 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 29,274 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 631.64 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 325 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,885 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 24,214 cfs.
