Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/09/19
At 11 AM on Tuesday, July 9:
• Grand Lake elevation was 751.74 feet. Daily target elevation for July 9 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 17,038 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,456 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 30,494 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 24,057 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 631.56 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 324 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,290 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,614 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 30,898 cfs.
