Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/12/19
At 2:30 PM on Friday, July 12:
• Grand Lake elevation was 750.53 feet. Daily target elevation for July 12 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 3,007 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,444 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 16,451 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 17,918 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 630.29 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 318 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,878 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 16,881 cfs.
