Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/15/19
At 3:15 PM on Monday, July 15:
• Grand Lake elevation was 750.27 feet. Daily target elevation for July 15 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 10,798 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,235 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 24,033 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 15,929 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 628.38 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 295 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 32,400 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 32,695 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 24,261 cfs.
