Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/16/19
At 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 16:
• Grand Lake elevation was 749.88 feet. Daily target elevation for July 16 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 10,481 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,305 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 23,786 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 15,615 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 628.74 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 6,859 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Three (3) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 25,920 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 32,779 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 24,022 cfs.
