Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/19/19
At 1 PM on Friday, July 19:
• Grand Lake elevation was 748.39 feet. Daily target elevation for July 19 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 6,044 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,106 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 19,150 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 14,191 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 627.18 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 293 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,853 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 19,341 cfs.
