Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/23/19
At 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 23:
• Grand Lake elevation was 747.07 feet. Daily target elevation for July 23 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 5,359 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,121 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 18,480 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 18,476 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 627.82 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 299 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Releases through floodgates totaled 299 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 18,748 cfs.
