Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 07/25/19

At 12 PM on Thursday, July 25:
• Grand Lake elevation was 746.68 feet. Daily target elevation for July 25 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 370 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,890 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 13,260 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 13,228 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 626.28 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 286 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,560 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,846 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 13,415 cfs.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Authority for its annual comprehensive financial reports for twenty-one consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
