Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 4:30 PM on Tuesday, August 27:
• Grand Lake elevation was 747.39 feet. Daily target elevation for August 27 is 743 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, five (5) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 11,942 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,675 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 24,617 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 18,664 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 624.15 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 268 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,290 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,558 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 30,642 cfs.
