Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 3 PM on Monday, October 7:
• Grand Lake elevation was 745.79 feet. Daily target elevation for October 7 is 742 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 12,908 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,099 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 25,007 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 21,881 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 624.03 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 6,855 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,020 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 40,875 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 31,482 cfs.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Authority for its annual comprehensive financial reports for twenty-one consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
