Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/01/19
At 9 AM on Saturday, June 1:
- Grand Lake elevation was 754.27 feet. Daily target elevation for June 1 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main and two (2) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 51,164 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,111 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 65,275 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 57,537 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 633.21 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 37,804 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 31,860 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 69,664 cfs.
Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 66,339 cfs.
