Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 4PM on Saturday, January 11:
 
• Grand Lake elevation was 743.76 feet. Daily target elevation for January 11 is 742 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, five (5) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 33,009 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Five (5) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 11,301 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 44,310 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 67,456 cfs.
 
• Lake Hudson elevation was 622.30 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 15,183 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 32,400 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 47,583 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 64,511 cfs.
 
No further gate operations are anticipated over the weekend.
