Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/01/19
At 5 PM on Saturday, June 1:
- Grand Lake elevation was 754.35 feet. Daily target elevation for June 1 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, three (3) main and two (2) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 45,696 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,059 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 59,755 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 54,016 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 633.25 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 28,181 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 31,590 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 59,771 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 60,749 cfs.
