Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 06/04/19
At 11 AM on Tuesday, June 4:
- Grand Lake elevation was 754.76 feet. Daily target elevation for June 4 is 744 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main and two (2) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 36,183 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,105 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 50,288 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 46,856 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 634.55 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 16,070 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 33,750 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 49,820 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 52,832 cfs.
