Grand River Dam Authority Floodwater Release Bulletin
May 12, 2020
At 4 PM on Tuesday, May 12:
- Grand Lake elevation was 744.67 feet.
- At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 15,118 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Five (5) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 11,534 cfs of water through generation.
- Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 26,652 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 38,218 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was 618.66 feet.
- Two (2) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse.
- Releases through generation and floodgates totaled 16,200 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 28,144 cfs.
