Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 08/16/19

At Noon on Friday, August 16:

• Grand Lake elevation was 745.42 feet. Daily target elevation for August 12 is 743 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) main spillway gate was open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 105 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,608 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 12,713 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 5,767 cfs.

• Lake Hudson elevation was 622.7 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 256 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 33,750 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,006 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 13,016 cfs.

In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
