Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 8/30/19
At 10:30AM on Friday, August 30:
• Grand Lake elevation was 745.81 feet. Daily target elevation for August 30 is 743 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, five (5) east spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 7,930 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,463 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 20,393 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 6,242 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 623.53 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 263 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,290 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,553 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 21,299 cfs.
