Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 7/12/19
At 12:30PM on Friday, July 12:
• Grand Lake elevation was 750.53 feet. Daily target elevation for July 9 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 15,537 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,455 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 28,992 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 18,015 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 630.27 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate was open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 318 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 34,830 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 35,148 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 29,429 cfs.
