Grand River Dam Authority News Release
For immediate release: 6/7/19
At 10AM on Friday, June 7:
• Grand Lake elevation was 754.53 feet. Daily target elevation for June 7 is 744 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main gates were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 6,010 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 14,072 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 20,082 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 19,764 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 635.33 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) gate is open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 16,293 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 33,480 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 49,773 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 34,071 cfs.
