GRDA News Release: Floodwater Release Bulletin

At 10:30AM on Thursday, September 26:
• Grand Lake elevation was 746 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) main spillway gates and one (1) east gate were open at Pensacola Dam, discharging 22,188 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Six (6) units were online at the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 12,236 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 34,424 cfs.
• Inflows into Grand Lake totaled 17,903 cfs.
• Lake Hudson elevation was 623.86 feet. Normal elevation is 619 feet.
• At the direction of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) gates were open at Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 13,045 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
• Four (4) units were online at the Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse, releasing 32,400 cfs of water through generation.
• Releases through floodgates and generation totaled 45,445 cfs.
• Inflows into Lake Hudson totaled 45,042 cfs.
