NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND WAIVER REQUEST HOCO PROPERTIES D/B/A MONKEY ISLAND MARINA

The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is in receipt of an application to transfer the existing permit for Old Glory Marina into the name of HOCO Properties d/b/a Monkey Island Marina. The project is located in Delaware County, Oklahoma. The applicant has no plans to modify the existing five docks with a total of 41 slips that are located on the property. The applicant also requests a waiver for the 1/3 of the cove rule for all five existing docks.

A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 9AM at GRDA’s Ecosystems & Education Center, located at 420 E Hwy 28, Langley OK 74350.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Authority for its annual comprehensive financial reports for twenty-one consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a governmental agency must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
