Tulsa’s Stava joins GRDA Board of Directors
Nov 14, 2025

GRDA Director Jeff Stava
Jeff Stava (Tulsa), a chief program officer with the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF), has been appointed to the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) Board of Directors by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt. Stava replaces outgoing GRDA Director Michael Westbrock (Tulsa).
Stava holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in operations management from Baylor University. At GKFF, his work includes talent and business recruitment as well as culture, arts and beautification. He also oversees the Gathering Place, Guthrie Green and the Bob Dylan and Wood Guthrie Centers. In addition to his GKFF role, he also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Tulsa Community Foundation.
“Director Stava’s experience in areas such as operations management and quality of life enhancement in the region will be a great addition to the GRDA Board of Directors. As the board representative for economic development interests, lake enthusiasts, and property owners, he is uniquely qualified to bring his life-long love of Grand Lake and outdoor activities to our board,” said GRDA President/Chief Executive Officer Dan Sullivan. “These issues are foundational to GRDA’s mission, and we look forward to the contributions he will make to the Authority.”
Stava began his tenure at the GRDA Board’s November 12 meeting Chouteau.
GRDA is governed by a seven-member board of directors comprised of representatives from each GRDA customer class (municipals, electric cooperatives, and industrials) as well as the GRDA lakes area. Two at-large representatives also sit on the board. Board members serve staggered, five-year terms, with one position opening each year, to ensure continuity.
GRDA is Oklahoma’s largest public power utility; fully funded by revenues from electric and water sales instead of taxes. Each day, GRDA strives to be an “Oklahoma agency of excellence” by focusing on the 5 E’s: electricity, economic development, environmental stewardship, employees, and efficiency.
